Here is what to do on XP:

After installation and patching launch program and click cancel when you spot question about email. Then go to C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\DAEMON Tools Pro , copy dtpr.dat and paste it to your hidden local folder C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\[application data in local language]\DAEMON Tools Pro .
